1998 Silk Path 300

I don't see many of these come up for sale. This one has a great looking frame, which in my opinion is the most critical part of any restoration.
And how about that color's name? Starlight Violet; how poetic.

I'd still like to find one of the Silk Path Jekyll's come up for sale. Don't really have a need for one, but I think they are interesting.

Yes, it seems like a lot of bother to just achieve 25mm of fork travel. Simple is often the best.
I really like the 25 mm travel on my XS800. It's great for soaking up road shock on gravel and rough pavement. The same ride could be achieved with a bigger tire run at lower pressure but with an increase of tire weight and loss of efficiency.
