I'd guess you are right on the year, though it could be a 1995. 1995 was the first year for polished frame, but that model came with a carbon swingarm. Force 40 brake cable routing is another reason in favor of 1994. Guessing someone stripped and polished a painted frame. Check the serial number, should have a build date. Should be a two letter code, F or G if 1994/1995. Second letter is the month A=January, B=February, etc. Size should be there at the end of the longest string of characters - 17, 19, 21 if 1994; MD, LG, XL if 1995. Is it mostly XT? If so I'm leaning toward a 1994 Super V 2000. That bike was full XT except for XTR shifters, LX rear hub, and Coda front hub.
I might be interested in it but shipping could be a deal killer.
My '94 came with a Fox Alps 4, which is a nice adventure to find parts to rebuild yourself btw.EH? That would be something like August of 1993, if I'm interpreting it correctly. 19" frame, too.
There was one Super V model in 1993, but three in 1994 (3000/2000/1000). If the 1994 catalog is correct, the 3000 and 2000 both were XT/XTR, but the difference was the brakes - the 2000 has Shimano, but the 3000 had Pirahna Power (I think that's what they were called). The 2000 and 3000 also came with M737 SPD pedals, but the ones in the picture are Crank Brothers, it looks like.
All three of the 1994 Super V models came with a fade paint job with Rocket Silver as one of the two colors. The Indigo Blue to Rocket Silver fade looks quite nice, IMO.
Concern with a bike like this is the rear shock. Stock, it came with a Fox, but not sure what model. Some of those are harder to find than they really should be.
