This Marketplace find is currently in the care of a friend in NE Ohio until I get it home. I'll get better pics at that time. All Suntour and in amazing condition. I will be swapping tires to something more appropriate - Specialized Crossroads are the likely choice but Continental DoubleFighters are under consideration.

You sure this bike was ever ridden? Seriously, that a nice FB find if I've ever seen one.

I got this lovely home last night. I'll snap some pics as I do the cleanup process. It appears to be all original except for the tires which I gifted to the friend that picked it up for me last fall. I'm undecided on tires... Specialized Crossroads or Continental Doublefighters which look to fill the frame a bit more.

My vote would be on the Continetal Doublefighters. Only issue I've ever had with Continental tires is that they are very tight fitting, even my 29x 2.4 Kryptotal were a bit tight to fit over the rim. Once seated though they don't budge even with super low tire pressures I've run on them (10 psi) a few times.

After comparing the size of the DFs to the Crossroads, I'm going with the DoubleFighters. I'm also considering some orange accents including a black and orange saddle and orange cable tips to pull the lettering on the tires, all of which is reversible of course.

I like the cable tips idea, not so sure on the saddle. However, it is all reversible so why not do something to make it uniquely yours. FYI though, the color of the lettering is more golden yellow than orange.
