1990's Cannondale tandem

This bike is a local find that looks to be in immaculate condition at a really good price. I'm not sure what year it is due to that part of the serial number be hidden by the cable guide. (But definitely a 93 to 99 frame) Unfortunately my tandem years are behind me (no pun intended), but if this is what you are looking for, it's a fine specimen. I really admire the brakes on this bike.
I would be happy to look at the bike if any member of this forum is serious about purchasing it.

Those brakes are impressive! And yes, the price is much lower than those that show up for sale in my area. The idea of a tandem I think is neat. But I already hear enough when I’m behind the wheel of the family truckster from the passenger seat. I couldn’t bear it on what is supposed to be a fun ride time bicycle…

My first big bike tour was a 5300 mile loop around the U.S. on a Santana tandem with my wife. She was a hell of a good Stoker. I'd never get her to give up control of stearing and braking anymore though. I guess there's a time and place for everything in life.

Wow! Impressive! What a trip! I have got to tell my wife about it. She’d read my mind though and immediately follow it up with: “So you want to buy a tandem bike now huh? I’m not pedalling 5000 miles.”

I think that's actually a 1993 RT3000. I'm only seeing Ritchey cranksets on the 1993 and 1994 tandems. 1995-1999 were Sugino. Quite a few newer parts on it - shifters, rear derailleur, brakes, front rim, perhaps more.
