I should have posted this here before facebook. I'd like to start off as a trade but willing to sell if nothing materializes.
Wondering if anyone might have something with a taller stack/shorter top tube to trade for my 22"/24" 1990 SM2000? This bike used to fit me well but with increasing neck issues, I just cannot get the bars to a place where I can ride comfortably for very long. I've never liked to chase a better fit with ugly stems and bar swaps. So I've left the bike as is mostly. Mostly original but for saddle, seat post, pedals, tires and grips I believe. I'm the 2nd owner and was told the Mavic wheels were a dealer upgrade. I'd be happy to keep them unless your trade also has a sweet wheelset.
So I'm looking for late 90's instead of early 90's. I know this is Cannondale fans but I'm open to Specialized, Kona, Salsa etc bikes as well. I'll likely sell it on if no trades happen. Ignore the long cables, I was trying swept back bars for a bit and needed the extra length. The broken cable stops on the top tube are remnants of a recent third attempt at finding replacements for the original. These failed like all the others but I may have redesigned replacements coming that I'll include with the trade/sale instead of installing myself. For not the nubs are at least plugging the little holes.
