Hi all.
I got a very original (from what I can tell) ST1000 from my dad about 5 years ago. It’s still got the front and rear racks, and mudguards with it, and the shimano stuff is all there. I believe the seat’s been changed, and I had 1/8 wider, knobbier tires put on it to help deal with my local roads a little better. Long story short, I’ve used it three times in five years. I’m interested in selling it, but I’m not sure what it’s worth, and don’t really want to deal with the local low-balling craigslist clowns. I’d like to see it go to a good home and somebody who would appreciate it at a fair price to everyone.. The bike is black, and the serial number is 25022488102, which I believe means a 25” frame, made 2/24/88 #102.. my dad’s also noted in the paperwork that it’s top crossbar is 34 1/2” long.. He’s 6’4, I’m 6’6.. it’s a tall bike. The front racks and splash guards are separate, and are hanging in the garage, so they’re not in the pictures below. The bike’s been incredibly well taken care of by my dad, who rode it all of the time, and kept it stored in the garage. It’s been stored inside in my mud room since I’ve had it, and hasn’t seen any abuse that I know of.
What do you all think?
