I have noticed this one show up on Marketplace several times over the past year. It showed up again with a much lower price so a deal was struck. The same Cannondale hunter in NE Ohio that picked up the SM1000 grabbed this one today. Actually, his wife works in the same town so I owe her for the purchase. I think it's another '88 but will verify when I get it home and update pics.

From the Marketplace listing:
"This bike is very light. It hasn’t been used in a while so the shifter cables need to be replaced. The frame is quite small. It would fit an adolescent or tiny adult Classic Cannondale mountain bike with a blue aluminum frame and yellow accents. This bicycle has a Shimano Exage Mountain rear derailleur and Shimano SIS thumb shifters. The bike is equipped with cantilever brakes and a Sakae stem. It has a 3x6 drivetrain and 26-inch wheels with knobby tires."

What's the plan? My 11 year old daughter does like the color and it might be fun to let her build it.

@IdahoBrett might also need a small frame for a build...

As of now I'll start by cleaning up the frame and see what I find. The rear u brake will be a learning opportunity for me.
