Sounds like you’re dealing with a lefty fork or headshock Cannondale? Tricky to find. Cannondale Experts are out of stock. So is eBay.

BTW, spacers don’t come in 4 mm increments so you would have to cut off a 4 mm section from a 10 mm spacer or, just use 15 mm total (10 + 5). If you’re lucky, you might find a 10 and 2 x 2 mm spacers. Better yet, a 20 mm spacer cut down to 14 mm.

Come to think of it, I’d look for a machinist who can make you one. Or someone who can layup a carbon one.

Yeah, I guess I could have been more specific. Any combination equal to 14mm would be fabulous.

There used to be machine shops in my area. People used to repair things and fabricate stuff. Not so much anymore apparently.

Funny about the Cannondale Experts site showing spacers as “out of stock” as opposed to “no longer available”.

Good question. Probably depends on who makes it.

My W.A.G. (wild ass guess) in this case would be an outside diameter of about 1.75”.

You stated you are keen on detail. If it were me, and I NEEDED one I would do surgery on an old BB52 or something. By surgery i mean Ye Olde Tyme Grindersmithing. The I.D on those is exactly 1.56". I have no bike knowledge sooo, yeah.

Yeah, need was too strong a word in my first part wanted post. I know the steerer is an interference fit in the steering head, but the gap under my new stem bugs me.

I will check out both of your suggestions though, thank you for those.
