This is a Viper Red mountain bike.

Not another black touring bike! One thing is for certain, I will never post a Viper Red mountain bike.

Fun fact: this bike was built on the same day as my SM400.

Ahh the 80s mountain bikes, long chainstays and retina blasting paint jobs. This 87 SM400 has one of the tallest stems I have seen.

Very nice base model tourer from 1997. Still spec down tube shifters in 97, a real throwback.

2003 R5000 in a flat black color that is so utterly sad and depressing that Werner Herzog tried to make a documentary about it.

And for those of you who can never get enough of sad and depressing touring bikes, I give you the frumpiest color of them all: Iris Blue. Shown here on a 25” 1998 T700, also available in an equally sickening greenish color called Kiwi.

A customized 1996 m800 Beast of The East in the best possible of colors- viper red baby! It was build up as i would have in the 90s - if money would not be an issue for a teen.
