Bought new in 1999, with a P-Bone D fork, Vanilla shock, Coda hubs (crappy Sachs-made), Mavic 221 rims, IRC Mythos tires, Sachs Centera shifting, CPI crank (rings were not replaceble...), and Avid v-brakes.
Upgraded with Vanilla RC shock, Marzocchi Pro coil forks (105mm travel), XT fourpiston discs (203/160), Mavic 317 disc rims, XT disc hubs, X7/X9/XTR shifting, Schwalbe Nobby Nic tires (and different bar, stem, seatpost, saddle etc).
The upgrades were defenitely a succes in all but one...
This bike has been through many changes over the years and still keeps rolling along. Originally built up XT Components with Grip Shift, Manitou 4 and WTB Velociraptor F/R.
