Great job. It's good to know who works on Headshoks. I have a 1996 Silk Road 500 that had a rusted up Headshok when I got it. I took it apart and cleaned everything up. Got in working order but may need some parts in the future.

The steerer tube on my 1988 54.5 cm SR800 measures 155 mm. You should be good with a fork with about 150mm or longer. You can always cut a fork that's too long. If it's not threaded down far enough, a good bike shop will be able to extend the threads.

Unfortunately 650c bikes are out of fashion even for triathletes. I think you could net more money by parting it out. Should be Ultegra 9 speed, which is still useful stuff. I think you could probably get around $100 for the frameset and close to that for the wheels. Probably close to $50...

This may be resolved by now, but there were at least 3 black Synapse models in 2006, both carbon and AL. Cranks varied from TruVativ to 105 to Dura Ace to SI. Guessing you have the SI but there are plenty of other options.
