This is for the prophet and original Jekyll frames. They uses a slight larger hole for the hydro lines, that uses these to hold it in place. Kinda sucks when these are gone... Looks like it might be electrical tape...

That is a clean bike. I think its worth it. And worst case, you can turn it around if needed. Size is most important though. I have turned down the best scores because of a too small or too large. If its comfortable, and the back is not sore from extra reach.... you are good.
