I feel its the same for anything vintage. For example a Honda civic. Is a 83 Civic vintage? 93 Civic? 2003? 2013?

I would 1st look for decals before you begin. Honestly, the paint looks ok. Have you looked at a good clean and polish? It is getting harder to find original bikes these days..

Hello, that is a Cannondale. The date code is on the BB. The decals on the back looks maybe added later. Not original. :)

So sad, i have had to do this before. It might be hard to find a buyer for all, you might have to do 1 off's. Good luck with a job hunt. :)

For sale is a 1984 Cannondale SM500 26x24. Posting it here before it goes on eBay. Original parts include Frame/Forks, headset, cranks, and front brakes. The other parts have been sourced after. The frame has been powder coated. The wheels are generic. Parts: Frame/Fork: 19" SM500 Cranks...

I would ru nit if it hold airs. It will not hurt it. The problem is the age of the seals. Cannondale today is a different company. Finding the parts of our "vintage" (even 2013 is vintage) is hard to find. Maybe somebody can chime in and give some headshox advice.
