I Hesitate to Post This One....

Saw this when I expanded my Craigslist search area out to 300 miles from my local area. I am very tempted by the price. That 2022 Shimano 105 group, new, even now sells for $900 or so online from Performance Bike Shop and others, so it would be easy to get back the money paid for the collection.

Notice the four Cannondale frames. Based on the headtube decals/badges, the two on the right are 80s/90s frames (the rightmost one, in a sideview, seems to have R2000 and 2.8 decals on the top tube. Second from the right is older, I'm guessing, because of the flat-crown fork. The black frame, second from left, has a 2000+ headtube decal, but I can't see in sideview what CAAD revision or model it is. The leftmost, the blue frame, has a 1997-99 headtube decal but no distinguishable model markings.

Gunter, TX. South-southwest of Lawton, OK and between Highway 75 and Ray Roberts Lake.

Nah, I'm wrong. The black frame also has the 97-99 headtube decal, I think.

The rightmost, the R2000 in the fuschia/silver, appears to be a 1993, based on an internet image search.

Nice find!

I’m kinda burnt out on builds. But when I see these photos I can envision in my mind how each of those frames would look once complete.

And you’re right, that group set would be a great buy.

I wonder if a fork could be found on ebay for that blue frame? I wonder if either the blue or black frame are 60cm or bigger? The possibilities!

Looking through the 97-99 catalogs;

The black one looks to be a CAD2 R200

The blue one also appears to be CAD2 logo in the photo. The top tube cable guides are in a different position compared to the black one. I can’t find a catalog picture that matches a particular model. Yet.
