Hello everyone!
I just bought this bike, but I can’t find any information about it online. Every search result just points back to the listing for this specific bike. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me identify it; I intend to add it to a collection. All the lettering is painted, not a decal. (The bike comes from England.)
Thanks!

Looks great!

I don’t know much about Cannondale’s producing promotional bikes. But I’ve seen some on the internet such as Bud Light, Sobe, L.L. Bean. Maybe it was a one of one.

26" wheels, disc brakes, and I see XT components... not a cheap bike. F series and a quick search found that parts combo in the 2002 Sales Brochure and 2003 Sales Brochure with F600 being the lowest 26er to receive disc. Any pics of the other side of the bike?
Hi!
I don’t think this type of LX crankset existed in 2002–2003. The front and rear derailleurs are XT, while the shifters are LX. The brake is a Magura Marta—that could well be original; my own F3000SL is also equipped with one.

Did you look at the sales info for similarly bikes?

I can imagine Cannondale building to a desired price point and using whatever parts were available to meet the goal. It's not uncommon to find older parts on newer bikes in the same way older date coded parts make it onto newer cars in the auto industry. Likewise, a crank is relatively easily swapped.

Big question: What's the serial number?

I get what you mean, but this crankset is newer than the bike.

You are correct, that Deore LX M580 from 2007. It was also common for some bikes to come with LX cranks but XT derailleurs.
