A113 cable stays

I ordered a set of cable stays off of eBay and put them on today. When I had the cable off I used a buffing wheel and some flitz metal polish and boy did it restore the paint on the top tube! These photos don’t do it justice and I will probably post better photos later but wanted to get this out so you guys could see. Pay no attention to the black cat in the corner. She is a major turd.

At least the bike's not for sale. If it were, you'd have to add the obligatory "cat NOT included" warning. ;-)

Glad these worked out for you. From this seller I bought two set of cable stops for a T1000 and SM2000 and nearly all of them broke just trying to get the cable housing through. 2 out of 6 survived. After the vintage housing wouldn't go I tried new Shimano and Jagwire but same story. After breaking three I decided to try filing out the route through the cable stop removing any sharp edges and enlarging it. After some lubricant assistance I was able to get the first two to squeeze through but the final one broke just like the others. I would advise that you make sure to get the housing through all the cable stops before gluing them on the bike. If I would have know it was going to be an issue I would have done the same and maybe save the stops from braking.
