Upgrade f300 2000

Hi everybody
I got f300 2000 with p bone.
I traveled the world with them for 4 (Turing) years and many more.

they were sleeping in the garage for a few years.

now I want to bring them back to life. The p bone is dead and want to replace for a fix fork or a better suspension. For bike packing.

Any tip?

I would have guessed that that fork was fairly reliable as it has a coil/micro cellular urethane spring. Perhaps the MCU can be replaced. I'd check with Craig at Mendon Cyclesmith and see what he says.

You can buy a reducer headset and put any 1 1/8" fork on it but I would keep the Headshok if possible.
