These Bikes Are Not Bad

While visiting family in TX this past Spring, I found a deal on a ‘92 3.0 R600. I put on new cables, housings, GP5000s, tubes, bar tape, hoods, and a nice Turbo saddle. Sweet Fast ride. It fits my brother too if the saddle is lowered most of the way so I left it with him and planned to find another here in L.A. No deals on a 3.0 but I did get a deal on an ‘86 RS800 in great shape. There is a minor issue with the DT shifter orientation and I will need some advice from more experienced members. Such fast bikes and not harsh riding like I was led to believe — with the alloy fork on the R600 or the steel fork on the RS800. (The pink hoods are new old stock and fit perfectly)

Both bikes look great.
I find it funny too how a lot of "myths" on how older bikes ride so harshly when they really don't.
