SOLD: 1990 Cannondale ST400 Touring 21"/56cm Frame only

Up for sale is a 1990 ST400 56cm/21". This frame needs a sand blast. It is from the coast. There are a few bubbles. After a blast and a re-paint it will be great. And a Vintage touring, not easy to find. Was going to rebuild, have had this for about 15 years... time for a new home.

Has test decals all over.

Do you have the fork and/or DT shifter bosses?

No fork. 1" 700c with posts is not as easy to find anymore. And the DT were missing when I got this. I used this as a test frame, to see if I could find compatible DT shift boss.

I have a couple of steel forks but would have to use a caliper and would probably be limited to a 700C x 28 tire. Not sure how adjusting cantis for 700C on a frame made for 27" would work.

Yes, funny how road went to 700c, and touring stuck with 27".. If somebody ran 700c up front, the adjustment would be the rear...
