Has anybody tried these from Improvepart: Cartridge service tool set here or their Needle bearing service kit here, made in China designed in Switzerland. 140 bucks gets you both kits, which does not seem unreasonable if they're durable and work well. That's about the same money, with shipping, as a single basic service at one of the dwindling number of official service depots here in Europe.

On the subject of Headshok service agents in Europe, there is now a non-official service offered by a guy from Croatia, Tomislav Sinkovic, website here and youtube channel. I can't vouch for this service having never used it but the fact one can finally communicate with a human being directly who is servicing your forks instead of an anonymous Cannondale entity somewhere is a step in the right direction. I also like that he sells tools for removing/installing your own forks (and headset) prior to sending them in for service, thus sidestepping a bike shop altogether if desired.
