Replacement Rear shock for 2004 Jekyll 1000

I was looking to buy a 2004 Jekyll 1000 but upon test ride the rear shock Manitou Swinger 3 way was leaking oil. I got them down from $400 to $260 but has anyone replaced this shock with one that will fit this bike?

This shock is the downfall of the 1st/2nd gen Jekyll's. They can be rebuilt. This is really the only way to have a shock on the rear.

Risse did make a shock at one time. However, I would just rebuild the shock.

Some Jekylls used Fox Float RL shocks. There are a couple on ebay but I couldn't tell you that they will fit. I would run the question by Craig at Mendon Cyclesmith if Brian doesn't chime in.
