Picked it up today for 40,- euro
Nice patina and no dents
A lot of original xt parts and a great mission control klein stem.
Needs a new front rim, totaly through
Judging on brake system i gues a 93/94 but can realy place te paintjob.
What do jou think M?? Year??
Wil start with a clean and polish and repalce the seat
Then look through mij pile of parts for a good set of rims.
Maybe change the stem for a syncros ....not sure about that yet

Thnx chumaman,
Colors match but geometry is wrong
It is not a beast style frame
Possible a M700 from 92 but no type decal. In my opinion never had one (clearcoat not damaged)
The brake sys. Is form 1994

Changed sadle and stem

I'd say a 1992 M700 despite the components not matching. Could have been built from a frameset or the frame from another model could have been replaced under warranty. Wolber rims? Last model to use Wolber was the 1991 1MB. Makes me think the bike may have been built up from a frameset with parts the dealer had on hand at the time.
