My grandson's 3rd birthday is coming up fast and I decided to just bite the bullet and get him his first Cannondale.
So which bike would you get him? Of course it has to have a Lefty!

It's the one I am leaning too simply because it has a rear brake. I do know someone who has just 1 XTR M590 V-brake caliper that could be installed as an "upgrade".
Although I know the reality is that balance bikes like this are kind of pointless, I cant pass up a chance to get one for him considering the price. He will only be 3 once in his life. I only wish my first Cannondale was one that came with a Lefty!

Agree with both of you. Can´t beat a brake. As soon as your grandson outgrows it keep it for him. No one knows where life will take him. If his future will be bike related your gift will provide the perfect story and proof for him.
