Found this nice item on german Kleinanzeigen.
Had a short conversation with the owner, a 71 years old nice man. We were talking about this nice road bike and he asked me about possible pricing. I've sent him several infos about other similar road bikes to find a fair and good price to sell. In...

Rides still incredible.
Ive lost count of how many high end bikes Ive ridden and owned since 1997. The CAAD4 is a great bike and worthy of a red groupo and 1200g wheels.
These Cannondale R500 CAAD 5 were produced back in 2004. It's an aluminium 6061 T6 frame. This one came with 54cm framesize. The 'SI Slice Ultra' carbon fork has an aluminum steer tube and fork ends.
I'm quite not sure about the color... To me the color looks like 'PatriotBlue (Mate)', rather...
I bought this bike cheap from a seller on eBay. The bike was in bad shape, although the seller told me that he had put some effort into it.
The frame was 90% sanded down, showing some black paint with CAAD3 decals on it.
Parts were mix bag of Devore and Altus. One wheel and the seat post were...
I have just finished building this bike.
This bike was painted red with the Klein logo on it sometime during its lifetime.
I bought the bike thinking it was a Klein.
While restoring the bike, I have discovered that this bike was not a Klein but a 1987 Cannondale Criterium.
I was nearly...

Hi,
Does anyone have a photo of Tinker - or better of his bike - from Worlds 97' in Chateau d'Oex? I'm trying to exactly rebuild his bike as I have the OG frame with the UCI tag on it. I also have another team frame purchased from the team manager that day at Worlds, it was supposedly a DH'ers...

Hi First time post, I picked this bike up at a pawn shop near my work in Gilbert, AZ. I didn't realize when i bought it how old this bike actually was, it's in fantastic condition. I thought maybe some of the components have...
Hi all
Looking for some advice on what to do with my old Bike please. It needs a complete overhaul and I am not the man to do it. A friend suggested I post on a forum before putting it on ebay as it may be useful to an enthusiast. He told me not to replace anything even if broken.
All advice...

Owned from new in 1998 and has been my only road bike all this time. Only original parts remaining are frame, fork, bars and seat tube. Still have the old bits littering the shed just in case I ever want to return it to original.
