    First 100 miles completed, no issues, no stone chips, no punctures. She rides better than new, with the updated components and every part fully refurbished. Even the head shock is working as it should.

    Just got my frame and forks back from the paint shop after they gave it a coat of lacquer. They’ve done a great job, it just looks wet, the shine makes it even hard to photograph.

    I'm Getting There.........Well, I got the frame back from the paint shop, but only for long enough to apply the Cannondale Frame Stickers, then I quickly rushed it back to the paint shop so they can lacquer it early next week. Very pleased with the quality of their work, the Audi Nardo Grey...

    Yep, powder coating and the heat process is fine on a steel frame, but on an alloy frame i wouldn’t risk it.

    I decided to go with paint as opposed to powder coating. Unsure of how the alloy frame would have dealt with the powder coating process of being baked on at 175 degrees centigrade, and was assured the paint (Automobile) Will be fine for trail/trekking.
