1997 F2000 For Sale - Facebook Marketplace
I am sad to say I have to sell the mystery bike I’ve had for the last two years, I just recently discovered it’s model, but must sell as I cannot afford to pay rent on my storage unit and must downsize asap.
Having no model name, I was able to identify this mountain bike by looking at the components that came with it. After flipping through the ‘97 catalog for hours… I’ve discovered that based on the roughcut logo and the XT/LX set, it is the 1997 F2000 CAAD3 with Killer V Style Frame.
Newly serviced in excellent condition, near-catalog spec equipped with original Shimano Deore XT components
*Specs are listed at the end of post. HeadShok Fatty 70s were replaced with HeadShok Super Fatty SI and are in great condition. Bar ends will be added upon purchase, along with original CODA performance handlebars. This bike was garage-kept and was not taken on the trails.
