Unknown custom made bike

Hi,

I have a mountain bike circa 1990s possibly.
I believe it’s maybe brushed aluminium finish.
Has manitou suspension forks.
There’s isn’t a serial number etc.
It’s a lovely frame with detailing.

Basically if anybody could give any clarity of what sort of bike/parts it is advice would be most welcome!

That's not a Cannondale: what made you think that it was?

I took a quick browse on the internet. This Mongoose has square chainstays like those on your bicycle. Sometimes bicycle companies have engineering ideas that they use for numerous years probably due to a patent they have. I'd look around with that in mind.
What tips you off that your bicycle is not a Cannondale is the frame welds. Cannondale never used that technique in their bicycle construction. There would also definitely be a serial number.
