Serial on '91 SH400

Hello.

Mourned the theft of my '96 Killer-V for a whole weekend, only to find a sweet SH400 hybrid on CL! Feeling much better already.

It's in the 1991 catalog (white frame, blue detail) but was trying to decipher the serial. Can't see the year on it.

Looks like
BI-0301 on one seat stay and 02007 o 14134 on the other. Any idea what that means?

that BI-0301? I've seen the same or similar on countless treks. perhaps that's a part number for the frame.

Agree with Rick, that's a 20" frame with 130 mm rear spacing (the first 0), July 1991 production. Looks like the 9 stamp slipped out of the holder prior to stamping. Nice find, I've been looking for a 22" SH for years.
