Greetings from Tulsa. Got my first Cannondale, M600 back in 1994. I drooled over the Killer V and Super V but was happy to simply ride an awesome bike in the Pacific Northwest, where I lived at the time. Yeah, it got kind of muddy on the trails.

Finally around early 2000s, I was able to afford a used Killer V 500. One of the fastest bikes I've ever owned.

Years went by, rode many other bike brands, and had lots of great adventures. Recently though, I fell in love again with the brand and came across this beautiful F2000 that was being sold locally. Couldn't pass it up even though it was way too large for me. Thanks to this site I'm learning lots of great information, and looking forward to finding many more gems to restore and ride!

Nice collection. The picture of the M600 reminds me of a road ride we did here about 25 years ago. It was so hot that the melting asphalt gummed up the brake calipers so bad that we had to stop and scrape it out with sticks.

Yes, that was my lesson that fenders don't always keep things cleaner. I was really surprised that I hadn't noticed all that buildup during the ride. No wonder if felt slow :D
