Hi community. I found this site after looking for information on my bike, and thought I would join and share an image of it. It’s a 2011 Synapse I have had for the past 14 years since new. I’m getting back into riding because of a brother who rides a lot and encourages me. I have an e-bike I normally ride as it is quite hilly around where I live. Although I have had the bike for years I have not ridden it much, it’s been a wall trophy for some time. I decided to change that and have replaced the rear cluster to have a chance to tackle the hills where I live. The website looks like a great source of information for Cannondale owners. I’m happy to be here.

Welcome and nice looking Synapse!

So that we may live vicariously through you, would you post some photos in the “Where did you ride your Cannondale” thread. Please! I’d like to see some pictures because I was in Oz-land a long time ago…

Welcome. Nice looking bike. I've never owned a Synapse but was looking at one on ebay that's within a couple of hours drive. Unfortunately the sizing is questionable and the seller isn't cooperating with requested information.

Thanks for the reply. Will do. If you were in Australia you may know my region, it’s the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. I’ve added a Wahoo and RTL in addition to my new cluster in preparation for my rides.

Thanks for the welcome message. It is a very stable and easy bike to ride. Only missing the disc brakes of modern frames but it’s light enough (carbon) to stop easily with the brakes I have.

Yes I spent a few days in Brisbane. But didn’t get out of the city. Beautiful area.
