It looks like you have a 2002 model. If your bicycle was equipped with a smaller rotor on the rear wheel I would leave it that size. It is common for the front rotor to be larger due to the fact that it does more work because of weight transfer during braking. Thus more heat is generated, and a bigger rotor has more mass to absorb, and dissipate, that heat. It just isn't necessary, or helpful, to have a larger rotor on the rear. The brake pads have the same surface area front and rear. You won't be getting any better performance.

There are different qualities in brake rotors. You might want to do some research in that regard. I am currently running Shimano ICE technology rotors, which use steel and aluminum, and find them to be a better quality than the steel ones I have used in the past. Brake rotors are also a throw away part, so put your money where you think the best value is.

I just put new pads ( resin ) the rear and I’m getting a high pitch squealing sound untill I touch the brake . I’m waiting on new shimano 180 front deore sm rt56 untill I fit the pads . I might just do the rear disc 160mm , the old disc had lots of brake dust in the disc holes
