CAAD not CAPO?

Hi all,

I recently purchased this Cannondale single speed and have no idea what model it was.

It's been restored so no visible serial under the BB. The main defining characteristic seems to be the rear dropout where it extends a good 4 inches past the join. The dropout itself is vertical and slightly angled.

That looks like a 2.8 or 3.0 frame, so early to mid 90s vintage. What's the wheel size? Serial number will be helpful.
Thank you that's what I suspected unfortunately I can't find the serial number under the bottom bracket I think it's been well sealed and painted as part of the restoration. So was this a road bike?

In those years the serial number could be on the chainstay or the seatstay. They can be hard to find as the paint was so thick. I really can't tell if touring, or hybrid, or MTB from the photos. Wheel size would be the first clue.

I'll take a closer look. 700 wheels. It also has brackets for luggage or panniers and cable routing for gearing

My guess would be a hybrid because of the rack mounts. All Cannondales in that era except the track bike would have had at least 2 x 7 gearing.
