Hi everyone. So I have been buying, Restoring and selling on the US built caad 3’s for a little while now. eBay mostly, But since recently joining this forum I thought it might be a suitable place to post them in the hopes that they would go to a home where they be appreciated maybe a tad more.
For now I have two for sale and two more waiting to be built. R800/R1000. All bikes I sell have been completely stripped of all components, cleaned and re-lubricated, any parts that are not in peak condition have been swapped out for new or used parts. Each bike has been polished with a ceramic coating and road tested. Bikes are covered in protective foam while in storage.
As this is more of a hobby than a business I’ve priced them in all honesty just to cover my build cost plus a little margin for all the work that has gone into restoring them. Usually a few days to a weeks worth of man hours. All bikes are Bike register checked and cleared. (Serial numbers available on request)
The two currently ready for a home are the Caad8 (Taiwan built) and the R700 made in the US. (The Caad 8 isn’t something I’d normally do but this one was really looking for some help)

Simano R500 Wheelset
New head stem adaptor,
New bar tape
New bottom bracket
New chain
New brake pads
Cinelli Alter stem 130mm in excellent condition, Cinelli bars, matching sella Italia saddle in good condition, 105/ Ultegra
Frame is in good condition for the age, usual wear marks where cables touch frame, also a few small bubbles in the paint in the underside of the downtube but not to the point the paint is removed. Happy to send pics if anyone is interested. Ultegra shifters also in fairly good shape and have also been serviced.
