1993? Delta V 2000... cant find serial number

Checked the bottom of the bottom bracket, nothing. I have the original owners manual with what I think is the serial number but for a 1993 it doesn't match the sequence it should be. It closely matches the "92" style ones.

Anyone have thoughts?

I can see where you might be confused by location of the serial number. It's quite common to see early production bikes with serial numbers in a different location when the location changes. Like it did between 1992 and 1993. Your serial number will be on the inside of the chainstay or seat stay. The format is the same that was used for the version 2 of the 1986-1992 models. It can be a bit hard to see the serial number through the paint covering it, depends on how hard it was stamped into the metal really.
The color way is dead on for a 1993 Delta V 2000.
While I am going to assume you've read the serial number info page here but I will go ahead and break down your serial number for you since it can be a bit confusing.
5= 135 mm rear drop out spacing.
17= 17 inch frame (basically a medium) the were sold in 15,17, 19 and 21 in
0193= Jan 1993 (which fits the production window of 1993 models that were released during the springtime back then. At least my 1992 M700 was built in Apr 92 and I purchased it in Germany on the Air Force base I was stationed at in Jun 1992.)
637= sequence number.

Hope that helps you. Again it is not uncommon for bikes to have serial number locations and formats that don't exactly follow what you would expect for that model year. Like my 2001 Jekyll 2000 with it's serial number from Nov 1999. Sometimes Cannondale loved to throw you curveballs like that.

Fun fact for those that say bikes are expensive today.
Take the $2045.95 paid for the bike in 1993 and adjust for inflation and it's $4550.96. A new Scalpel Carbon SE 1 is sitting at just under $4500.

Well I talked to Craig about the front fork and it's not serviceable, I'll need to swap to something else or hope I stumble across one that works still.

Lots of forks out there but wanted to stay with the bent style so it looks more original.

I've seen one or two pop up on E-bay from time to time.
