1986 SR800 for sale!

This is my Mom’s bike. Original Huret odometer reads 1571 miles. Dad bought it new, but at age 84, she had decided to let it go.
Well cared for, always garaged. I just replaced the tires, tubes and rim tape and installed new Shimano brake shoes. She’s ready for a vintage ride!
48cm frame, 165 cranks, mix of Suntour Superbe Pro and Sprint components with Royal Gran Compe 400 brakes.

Wow, I've never seen one that small. Never considered that they would have to run the top tube into the down tube. It's tempting to add that to the collection. Would you sell me the catalog?

Hmm, not sure what the catalog alone would be worth, but I think keeping it with the bike makes the whole package more appealing. Do you have a wife or daughter that would like the bike?
I've had friends tell me they're interested in the parts but then I'm stuck with a frame I can't use...

The owners manual is very cool. would love to get a scan of that to add to the website. Very clean bike. I would not part it out. post it here. and if no luck, go to ebay.

Would individual pics of the manual pages work for you? Or would a scanner be higher res? I can do either but it might take a couple of days to get around to it.

Yes, very nice parts on the bike, but it should stay intact. My niece has a couple of daughters but there's no indication that they'd be interested in a road bike.
