This bicycle's frame was given to me by the Cannondale Corp. in 2001 to settle a warranty claim on a 1997 Cannondale T500 that had snapped it's chainstay at the right rear dropout. Since it was only a frame, I had to transfer parts that still fit from my 1997 T500 (No more down tube shifters or quill stem) to the new bike. Of all those parts, currently, only the rear cantilever brakes remain as original 1997 components. Everything else literally wore out from daily use, or was upgraded over...
