The long story behind this bike:
Between 1996 and 1997, my wife and I spent so much time mountain biking in the Bavarian Alps (very southern Germany) and Tyrol ( Austria) that she eventually developed serious problems with her back and neck. She was riding a Diamond Back Topanga at the time- an unsuspended bike!
