In December 1998, I purchased this 1999 T1000 for $1300 from Rhino Bike Works in Plymouth, NH. Adjusted for inflation, that’s approximately $2500 in late-2024 dollars. This is the 25" (63.5cm) frame with a 23.3" (59.2cm) effective top tube and currently weighs 29.9 lbs, including the fenders, racks, and dynamo/lights shown here.
