Thanks for the replies, the fork is not carbon just painted black. Also, what makes it compact? Just shorter wheelbase?

Just got this bike I know nothing about, would like to adjust the handle bar forward and down, can't seem to figure out how to get the black cover off to get to the screw to loosen it. Also, how do you shift? I ride it and move the levers every direction but nothing happens? I feel so dumb......lol
