Did you say That you put 2.3’s on a f600 ? My 2.1 pace maxxis have just enough room especially when you think the back wheel dose move a little side to side when ridingI can attest the fact that Maxxis 26 x 2.3 DTH fit with lots of room to spare on my 2005 F600. That said, the bike looks great with the new tires!
'05 Furio F600 frames are nice and wide. I could probably sneak in some 2.4 in tires . I am still contemplating putting on either 650B or 700c wheels on this bike when I get around to doing a drop bar conversion on it later this year. It rides so smooth on the Maxxis DTH's and makes it a fun bike to commute to work on so I am not in a rush to convert it yet.Did you say That you put 2.3’s on a f600 ? It’s good , holds air , running at 150psi due to my weight being around 15 stone / 95 kg . On lockout there is slight downward movement and knocks slightly . I found a bike garage in Uk to service headshok for £110 but I have to send it off around 200 miles , so looking at servicing myself just the dampenerAgreed w ^. Big question tho: how does she ride?? How's the headshok?
Lucky you, mine loves to hold air when it feels like it. So for now I have it locked out completely. To get mine serviced it's gotta be sent just shy of 1500 miles. The pricing is about the same though. That's a fall project as I am in the middle of a rebuild/repaint of my Super V that's turning out to be more fun(difficult) than I thought thanks to the ONE seal in the Fox Alps 4 that is no longer available being torn. It’s good , holds air , running at 150psi due to my weight being around 15 stone / 95 kg . Living in the Uk must be like living in a shoe box compared with USA . I used to live in Kingston upon Thames but moved to a small village in NorfolkLucky you, mine loves to hold air when it feels like it. So for now I have it locked out completely. F600Plenty of room for those , I didn’t know the frames are slightly wider on the f700 furio , I take it they must be different USA / Uk . I was going to try 2.3 minion ( spell check ) on my f700 but luckily I dident as not realistically enough room at back . The pace maxxis are good but you don’t get a lot of tred on the tyre but grip nicely . Im going bed now as it’s 1:30 gmt . All the best
