In December 1998 I bought a 1999 Cannondale T1000 top-o'-the-line touring model which I have toured self-supported across several states. For her "silver anniversary" (2024), I gave the T1000 an extensive restoration mainly sourced from the Rivendell catalog, including a $1000 wheelset from their wheelbuilder, Rich Lesnick.
