Wanted 2012 Cannondale Synapse (Carbon) seat post

If you still have the old one, maybe it can be repaired by a carbon specialist.

To repaint or not too repaint.

Why repaint it? The damage doesn’t look too bad. In the past, I did bike touch-ups when I worked for Cannondale. If you take your time and work meticulously, you’ll barely notice the paint chips afterward. Your local car paint shop can mix a matching color sample for you to use on your bike...

    1994-ish Super V....?

This bike has an early type of rear damper, not many Super V's had those, later and most versions have the Fox damper. Same for the alloy swingarm. Also this bike seems to have the previous version headshock that can be serviced without needing special tools. However, the fork legs are straight...

    Unsure On This One....

Gives me a weird vibe. Looking at how the bike is handled to take a few pictures, yes the low res, What is this seller trying to hide? Have you tried an image search to see if these images have been used for other Craigslist, Ebay etc posts?

    Help identifying damper

If the lock out is not working that probably means the oil has leaked out over the years so it needs a refill. Or the lock ring inside the damper is broken. For as far as I know there are no service kist for the dampers. So for the seals you have to look online. The seal that shows in the last...

    SUPER V carbon

Ah, I did something similar with my selfmade bike. When sanding with a 3M tool, the paint from the headshok fork I discovered left a very nice finish. So I decided to do the frame as well.

    SUPER V carbon

Nice frame color, looks like very fine brushed aluminum.

    Killer V

No problem changing the brake cables for a normal diameter. As long as you are sure they are brake cables and not shifter cables. Love those Killer V frames

    Hello from a 80's C'dale Employee

Some copy shops have a special setup for scanning books. This setup allows you to scan pages without having to open the book completely. If you can find a shop that has this kind of system you can ask for a quote to get it scanned. Maybe some of us can pitch in to cover a part of the cost to get...

    Hello from a 80's C'dale Employee

In did three trips overseas in the period of 90-92. My first bike, a hand build Raleigh 1989 randonneur had 28 mm Michelin's which only lasted 2300 km on the rear wheel. For my next trip I bought a hand build 1991 Dutch randonneur. This had 28-32 mm Continental tires. Tires lasted 2800-3200 km...

Replacement screws for Coda Magic crank

To my knowledge, those are just ordinary chain ring bolts. Keep in mind that they come in different sizes so measure the length of the xcrrent bolt and you will be able to find replacement bolts. If you want them period correct, buy allen key bolts and not the torx version.

    Hello from a 80's C'dale Employee

Welcome Rod Thanks for the sharing your experience when working at C'dale. Looks like the dynamics in C'dales CT office differs a lot from the atmosphere I experiences when working for C'dale as a temp worker in Oldenzaal the Netherlands.
