Ah, I did something similar with my selfmade bike. When sanding with a 3M tool, the paint from the headshok fork I discovered left a very nice finish. So I decided to do the frame as well.

To my knowledge, those are just ordinary chain ring bolts. Keep in mind that they come in different sizes so measure the length of the xcrrent bolt and you will be able to find replacement bolts. If you want them period correct, buy allen key bolts and not the torx version.
