    Upgrading groupset on 1992 T600

Speaking of tandems limited, I saw they have a closeout on Cannondale Coda saddles for $7.50 a piece. If money is no object check out the White Inustrustries bottom bracket. Made in California. Available at Rivendell Bikes.

I'm looking forward to a picture when it's done.

    Upgrading groupset on 1992 T600

That's a pretty low end crank, at least the chainrings are (although nicer than the original equipment crank on my 1997 T500). I think that you might find something better to dress up the bike plus give you some lower gearing. As long as the derailleur is functional I'd keep it. A nice upgrade...

    Upgrading groupset on 1992 T600

How about posting a picture of the drive side of your bicycle? Looking at the picture of your bike that you posted earlier I'd say that there are better quality parts available compared to you OEM drive train. You might not notice performance wise however. But things do wear over time. Wheels...

Have you tried contacting the Leland company? That frame is really beat up. What ever happened to your restoration?

    For Sale/Trade 1987 Cannondale SM500 20" Frame

Don't do it!! There has to be some Mountain bike lover out there wanting to tinker with a real cool rebuild. Shoot us your bottom line price Brian. I'd hang it in my garage before I let a piece of Cannondale history go for scrap.

    Good Morning from Portland

If and when you tackle this ride I hope that you add it to the "Where did you ride your Cannondale today" thread on our site with a few pictures. I'm sure that would be great motivation for the rest of us.

    Good Morning from Portland

I too was a bike commuter. That is a great way to get in shape and stay there. Thirty miles a day is three hours of exercise. I bet you'll see measurable improvements in your strength in no time, even if isn't every day. That bike is perfect as a commuter. Often I found the time riding to and...

    Good Morning from Portland

Welcome. You'll see if you stick with our site that I am partial to Cannondale touring machines. Check out the thread titled "Highest touring model seen" to get some good info. The T600 was a single year model designation, so they're kind of special, even though there seems to be a lot of them...

    Cannondale Trikots

That's some pretty cool stuff. I've also noticed that most of the clothing that has lasted the ravages of time is the small stuff. I used to deal with a LBS, that is now closed, that had a big rack of Cannondale clothing that was quite old sitting in the window fading in the sun. I wish...

    Brake pad upgrades

I've used Kool Stop on my Cannondale cantilever brakes since 2018. I think that I'll stick with the brand. I'm very satisfied. Customer service has been responsive as well.
