VERY early Cannondale/ ST500

I saw this bicycle for sale on a Facebook Marketplace post in Tyler, Texas. After seeing that it had a Suntour Superbe derailleur and noticing the early Cannondale brand rear rack, I decided to search the Cannondale catalog database on this site to ascertain it's year of manufacture. Both 1983 (the first year of the Cannondale bicycle), and 1984 bikes had Superbe components. The 1984 model listed blue as a color.
This is a pretty cool bike for a collector. I would be interested in other people's takes on its vintage.

I think you have it right. It's dirt cheap. The Superbe Tech rear derailleur can bring close to the asking price if it's nice.
