anybody know if this was a special edition or something
f1000,deore dx brakes,xt front/ rear mech,coda crank cant find it in any catalogue

Do you have the Date Code? year..

CAAD3? Would have been 1996-1998, possibly a color only sold in Europe. 1999 F1000 was CAAD4. Newer had disc brakes.
