Remake of my SR 600

The SR 600 was my second cannondale bought in 1993 ish, I unfortunately started not liking the color combo and striped and polished the frame. Some time later I guess I sold it but never forgot that bike. So a year ago I decided to make a replica build and the hunt was on for the project. I found this bike on e bay and it fit my needs. I completely stripped the paint and had it powder coated a sparkle black, it have multiple colored sparkles in it to help represent the splatter paint it originally had. I then added the Scott drops just because I had them bitd and finished it off with a set of repro decals from the sight. I rode it in the A group of my Sunday shop ride and although I didn’t set any Strava records that day it was a blast keeping up with the boys on an old machine. I then had an idea to make the bike just a bit more on the cool side adding a zipp disc on the rear with custom matching decals, and a spinnergy front wheel. I always loved that combo on a tt bike. I have ridden it this way a handful of times and compliments and confused looks always seem to follow. The pic standing on the bridge is my original bike during the 100 mile ride from Manhattan to Montauk crossing the shinnecock canal.

Depends on how you define modern. Deda, Nitto, Cinelli, and Soma still make 26.0 clamp quill stems, and several additional manufacturers make threadless with 26.0 clamp. I don't think Cinelli still makes 26.4 clamp size but there are plenty of used ones around. The bar I linked is 26.4 but it was also made in 26.0 diameter.
