Older Cannondale tandem

Picked this up ay my LBS today. Just trying to determine its age/sizes/model. If anyone has any input on this it’s greatly appreciated. I can’t wait to ride it.

I think that's a fairly early tandem, 1989 or so. Believe it's 25"/23" as indicated in serial number. If so captain's seat tube should measure about 26 1/8" from center of crank to top of tube, stoker's about 22 7/8". Not sure about rest of serial number, but might indicate May 8, 1988 build date, or perhaps just May 1988. Either way it's the first tandem produced on that date. There is no tandem shown in the 1988 catalog, so it may be a 1989 model year even though produced in 1988. 1989 frames were offered in "Teal", but it appears to match the color of yours. That looks pretty close to what I have. I’m guessing it was only available as a frame set.
