Is it a Killer V or a Delta V?

I have an opportunity to own this bike. The frame has been stripped of most of the paint and I am color blind but believe it to be purple(?) from the traces of paint on the BB. Here are the numbers, do I need to take the cable router off to see which frame size and model this frame is?
Thanks!

Can't tell much from the serial number about the specific model. Looks to be a Jan. 1995 build date and a 21" frame. Pretty sure it's a 1995 Killer V 900. The paint was called Diamond Black Metallic with Violet Pearl Hyper-Highlight, but it's basically purple. I have the same bike with level top tube, same color, 1995 M900.

Thanks BL! Seems you are the go to guy for me and my choices. I have not yet laid hands on the bike-when I do I will have my measuring devices and the specs. I know it needs some work-front derailleur is missing cable. It has the Deore XT RD and the FD is the Deore LX. Has a Head Shock front fork-not sure which - see pic. That's what made me think it was a Delta V and not the KillerV. What makes you think Killer V 900, the paint? Is that the "best" clue to actual model?
What value would you place on the bike? I am trading a '85 Peugeot PH 10 le for the Cannondale and I'm thinking he may owe me some cash as well...what are your thoughts?

And the Top of the Headset says Head Shock with the on-off twist top. Do the chainstays end at the wheel dropout or is the dropout behind the chain/seat stays? This looks like they end at the dropouts...

That's an F700 actually, so technically not a Killer V (which was a model name) but a Delta V. The Delta frame was an option on the F700. Interesting observation about the dropouts. Only the KV and Beast of the East frames retained in 1995 the cantilever dropouts that all mountain frames had in earlier years. The knob on the fork locks out the front suspension. The XT and LX drailleurs were standard on the F700. It retailed for $1450, nearly $300 more than the KV 900. I'm not sure if the Delta frame cost more than the standard 2.8 frame. I'm not sure what value I'd put on it or what your Peugeot is worth. It would depend on condition of all the parts.
