Help! Is this Fake? (CAAD 3 R something)

Hi, can someone help me ID this bike? I can’t even read the serial :/
The owner says it’s never been resprayed but I can’t find it on catalogs. Some parts like the crank don’t seem to be original. What do you think?

Hello, that is a Cannondale. The date code is on the BB. The decals on the back looks maybe added later. Not original. :)

Hello. Thank you. I posted a picture of the BB, it looks unreadable to me. Are the first two letters supposed to be separated by a column? Could it be “ I.I.”?

Those dot matrix stampings can be hard to read. I couldn't begin to decipher yours from the photo. Crank does not look like anything that Cannondale supplied, but the frame is surely Cannondale. CAAD3? Picture of fork would also help.
