What years/models were 1 1/4"? Pretty sure my 1993 M800 is, but my 1991 Beast is 1".

92-94ish Some frames are, and some are 1 1/8. just like the pepperoni forks. most are 1 1/4th but some are 1 1/8. and 1991 pep was 1"

I will have to check my parts. Have a new XT headset but it may be 1 1/8". I would think that you could find something on eBay though.
